New to the site but I have searched everywhere here and cant seem to find my problem. I have a clicking sound that starts at about 15 mph and clicks a couple of random times up through 25mph. Doesn't do this in 4H, all heat shields are tight, still does this when parking brake is slightly engaged. I can't seem to pin point where it is coming from. Help please.

I sometimes hear it on my 13 never thought anything about it, almost sounds like a rock in the tire but def isn't. Sub'd to see some answers on this one... Doesn't bother me only really hear it when some kind of divider is next to me etc.

It is not shift depending or RPM, it starts and stops at a certain speed. Going to replace u-joints & possibly the carrier if continues. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Is the sound consistent with speed (rotation of the wheels)? If so, its the wheel bearings.

Not necessarly. Its not constant or at lets say 16mph. It is more or less how much I get into it. Drive like grandma and it doesn't do it, stand on it doesn't do it. Clicks a couple of times and stops but, never a consistant number of times 3 this time next stop sign maybe 4 an so on. Almost sounds metal to metal but not completly sure.

You sure it's not your blower motor? There is thread around here about the blower motor making a ticking sound because Toyota did not put a filter at the factory and debris get's in there and the fan blades make ticking noise

We had a truck in the shop that had a click like that. It took along time to figure it out but it ended up being the aluminum wheel agianst the cast bake rotor. We swapped wheels and it went away. It was super odd. Not sure thats what you have going on but that was a big mystry for us.
