Yes I have. I put driver and passenger seats from a 2009 Tacoma into my 2004.
What a job, but the results are worth it.
I will see if I can find my pics, I didn't do a build thread or take inpro pics but I will help you as much as I can.

I swapped my bench for buckets out of another tacoma. Are you looking to put seats out of something different in or seats out of another tacoma?

That's all relative to your abilities.

If I attempted it alone, I'd still be using a cinder block or toddler booster seat for a driver's seat.

Anyone know if Celica seats will bolt in or are the frame rails different?

So as far as I know there are no direct bolt in seats right all custom mounted, except some 4 runner seats but I don't remember the details on those or if it is worth it?

I swapped 02 celica seats into my 04 d-cab. Cut the feet off of your stock buckets, bolted the feet into place and my friend welded 1" square tube to the feet.
Celica feet also need to be removed so you can position your seats onto the rails in
the truck for tacking.Celica seats have a one piece high back/headrest which makes
them a little wide near the top so you want to check your clearance for your seat belt
as well as your center console before you tack into place. I'll see if i can find some pics for you.
