Interesting read. I never had any issues with my HID kit with my factory lights. They worked out well but they were aimed correctly. Never had any issues with people flashing their high beams at me.

Now... as to putting a HID kit in these I dunno. I'll have to do a little research. If it's too much trouble I'll just leave them alone. They are bright enough without it.

    Well... Here is the update:

I like them! The more I look at them the more I like them. Even the 4 LED's at the bottom are growing on me. Honestly I don't think I'm going to even worry about putting a HID kit on them as they put out good enough light. Not factory good but pretty damn close. My light bar is wired into my high beams so the high beams on these are a moot point.

So all that said... I'm selling my Black Anzo Headlights that have been sitting in my office for the last 4 months. Sorry.... I'm keeping my Factory BHLM just in case something happens to these new lights. I put too much time and effort into them to sell them (I realize that doesn't make much sense since I'm not even using them at the moment).

    Thanks!

I really wasn't sure if I would like them (reason for wanting honest opinions) but the longer they were on there the more I liked them. I understand they aren't for everyone but I really like the Halo's. That is the part that I really didn't think I would like and was really unsure about. Turns out... that is my favorite part. If you do decide to get a pair (or something similar) make sure they are the CCFL so they will show up even in direct sunlight.

I saw your first post, either look good. Interested in selling the BHLM's, PM me.

Note, I'm sure someone already asked for them, but on my phone and couldn't read it all.

No, I'm going to keep the BHLM. I've got These for sale though.

Check my build thread...too much to list.
Thanks! In the end it's on your truck and if you like them it's all that matters. When I was retrofitting my headlights the guys who helped me out suggested painting the bowl black. I wasn't feeling it and I'm glad I didn't jump on painting it last minute. It would have been a rash decision and I like the "stealth" HID look.

    Thanks!

I need to try to remember to take a picture tonight of the light pattern on the garage door if I can break away from helping with all my daughters homework. In the mean time go back to the 2nd page (I think) and look at Rich's picture of his headlight pattern. That is pretty much what mine looks like. The only difference (besides the light output since his is HID) is mine angle up just little bit higher on the right side of each light pattern. Works perfect for seeing the shoulder of the road though and doesn't effect oncoming traffic.
