Not trying to be a wise guy here but I've read on other threads that people for some reason don't follow what should be some logical steps to drain their oil:

Since the oil filter is located at the top of the engine and is inverted, first take the cap off valve cover where you'll be pouring in your fresh oil. Then remove the drain plug and let the oil drain until you don't see anything dripping. Then remove the oil filter and replace it with your new one. Read several posts where people started to remove the filter before draining the oil and were surprised at how messy it was to do an oil change...just sayin. If you do it this way, there will be very little oil left in the filter when you remove it and all you'll need is a paper towel to clean up what does drip out. Easy peasy

Ha, you live you learn bro! At least it wasn't something that would be an absolute nightmare to fix.

About 6 years ago I saw a guy with a brand new porsche GT3 at the gas station......he was filling his new porsche with diesel. He drove away before I could tell him.....

Still don't know what happened, but I know it wasn't good!

Better diesel in a gas than vice versa.

However in that dudes case, more money than brains. I dunno how that's even possible since the diesel fill nozzle is larger than the fill hole for gas on all vehicles.

Haha... I've got to know how he got the Diesel nozzle into the tank fill tube? Did he just pour it all over the top of the car and call it good?

From what I could see the nozzle was in just like it would be with gas. It was definitely diesel also, as written down the green stripe on the pump. It was one of those pumps with gas and diesel on the same pump, just with the diesel segregated a bit.

I actually thought at first, hmm, maybe porsche has a diesel now? I pondered that until I googled, then laughed heartily. As far as how he got it in there, who knows? Is it possible to just shove one of those things down in there?

My wife asked me that same question when we first started dating lol. (sorry couldn't resist... childish humor ftw)

Most Diesel nozzles are slightly bigger than the unleaded nozzle. I suppose there might be a exception to the rule somewhere. I did go to a station in Indiana once where the unleaded fuel pump nozzle was green. I realize that color isn't "always" a indication but most diesel pumps are green aren't they? I looked 3-4 times to make sure I wasn't fucking up somehow.

Apparently to the dealership that I go to. The parts guy said that it was hard. Haha! I just laughed.

I wonder if there's a test out there to see if people are "semi retarded"? They have IQ tests, so why not. I'm sure that some people would find out they're "semi retarded", or fully.

    Yellow up here for diesel.

Green in Canukistan generally means Ethanol added.

A fumoto valve is the only way to go. Makes oil changes so much easier. I've used the fumoto for years on all of my vehicles.

    How about $0.89

    x2

Depending on what your stealer charges, go to ebay and search for oil filters. Bought a case for $40 shipped to my door. Stealer wants $7 per filter
