Not every state is as regulated as California. We don't have laws in Kentucky.

I can't remember if they did that when I got mine or not- but then again, I'm in VA. I know Onesteel Scrapyard has got my thumb print though. You have to thumb-print your sheet every time you go in. They give you your sheet detailing what you turned in, Price per pound, how many pounds, etc, and you put your print on it and sign it, then you give it back to the guy, he stores it in a file, and gives you your copy, which you take to the machine and get your moneys.

Not here, or any state I've lived in... Gubment got my prints when I worked on a Federal building though...

Same here, I still have a flip phone and get razzed for it all the time. I also like the battery life, I charge my phone MAYBE every 4 days.

 I probably could, but then I couldn't come up here and get joshed for looking like a kid. :D I'd miss that.

Yup, people stare at my phone all the time like "Dayum, son, ain't you s'posed to be part of the high-tech generation?" I love the battery life. Beats the hell out of all my friends' smart phones. And I still haven't broken it, knock on wood. The buttons on the front don't work, and the outside screen is done, but it still functions like a normal phone. It's not blue any more, though. :D

I've been using my phone less and less lately. It's all everybody does when we're eating out as well. I'm sitting there ready to make conversation while others are sitting slouched with the phones in their faces.

It's hilarious when they all complain and freak out about their phones almost dying and I look at mine and I have over half a battery left. Actually, that's kind of sad....

We did something similar with my friends at a sports bar. There were 5 of us and 3 of them wouldn't put their phones down. We put all the phones on the table, all alerts kept as normal and the rules were simple, every time your phone made a noise, you had to take a drink. The 3 who had their phones set to give them facebook updates got wasted in a hurry!

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
You should text me you phone #, and then we could face-time each-other and I will tell you how my friends think I should feel.
