Small shielded cable (anything from 24ga-10ga) is for communication, it serves several purposes. Shielded cable on larger diameter wiring and higher voltage wiring is for grounding purposes only (most of the time). There are different kinds of shielded cable, there is a cable with a shield wrapped in a jacket with another shield between that cable's shield and jacket. What size and how many conductors do you need? I think I can get some from work.

There is an electric supply in Katy; http://www.cityelectricsupply.com/ I called them and they carry different sizes of shielded cable in stock. Idk what they charge since Exxon gets the discounted rate but it can range from $0.18 / ft to over $50 a foot

 Unless it's for impedance purposes (highly doubt it) you could float both sides and it wouldn't matter.

Idk I could be wrong, I don't specialize in DC, but terminating one side and floating the other makes no sense.

This is where I am coming up on my limits. One, you need to know the wire gauge for this sensor's leads. Two, I believe that for the shielding to be effective, it needs to be grounded at both ends. Given the connector you've shown, I don't see where you'd ground it on the sensor end, unless you ran your own ground from each sensor plug.

Maybe there is some kind of internal sensor that disables said sensor unless there is a wire connected to it, I didn't think it would be that complicated though being an old car.

Told you it wasnt going to be as easy as you said it would be.

Plus I think red saying its an old car as it plus and wires shoudnt be that hard to figure out, since there is not a whole lot of sensor

You might have 12 sensors on the motor harness, if that many. Compare that to how many sensors most motora have now!
