Why don't you jack up the front of ur truck 3inches and if you have another jack put in the back to about 1inch and a half and that way you can get an idea how it will look:)

Most of us here are picture whores so drool away. Maybe somone here could do a little photo shop for you or just post a truck that looks like your side by side so your pop could see? Just a thought. I would but don't posses those skills.

yeah i figured that too :D
its not exactly easy as it is. im sure itd deff be noticable after a lift. and imo, nerf bars just make it look even lower, so i doubt ill ever get them. no matter how hard it is to get in my truck! haha

i was like you before i got my lift, the pictures dont do any justice, but when i saw my truck with the lift and tires installed i was amazed and so happy with the results, mine definitly looks lifted i recomend the ultimate toytec lift and 285s looks BADASS i will post some pictures later, the lift kit was insstalled only two weeks ago. forget about 6" and 4.5" 3" is the way to go:headbang:

Do you have to re-gear for running those tires with the 3" lift?

are the rear bilstein shocks included in the toytec ultimate lift? cuz it looks like yours is lifted more than others in the rear, but i like that.

Its an option, the rear is an Add-A-Leaf (for TSB). The truck actually sits level.

I cannot tell you how much pictures do not do justice. When I put on my coilovers I couldn't believe the difference the 3 inches made. Definitely looked higher than I was expecting. The bigger tires take up so much more of the wheel well so you can't notice the height difference in pictures.

If you go for it you will notice a big change, even driving it feels a lot different. Then pull up to another stock Tacoma if you get a chance, just to remind you :D.

i think the main point is people who don't care about it wont notice or pay attention these things too much.

i say you notice right away in person though but then again i look out for this type of stuff
