Dealership only. Some will do it, some won't because of State Laws/ Safety issues. Just ask real nice and good luck.
And Welcome to the wallet lightening TW.

I thought there was a write-up on here how to do it but maybe it was for the pre 2013's.

Can we please not turn this into another seat belt debate. Nobody knows how this guy uses his truck. Maybe he mends fences for a living and enters/exits the vehicle every 10 feet and doesn't want to hear the chime. Maybe not, but it's his truck and his question.

    What a useless post.
There are several situations where the seat belt chime is going off
yet no risk for the driver.

But as to the OP, yes for 2013 you have to go to the dealership.

Risk is every where, just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there.

I usually just skip to the last step, but the rest sound fun. In all sincerity, I live in the same state as the OP, and the big thing here is the whole click it or ticket. All of my friends who have died in car accidents, weren't wearing their seat belts. They also have fake buckles on ebay that you put in to trick the system in to thinking you have your belt on. All it is, is an electrical contact.

Just wondering, am I doing something wrong? cause this didn't work for my '13. Also, the steps don't make sense at the end.

    it says
    • take off seat belt
    • buckle passenger seat belt
    • then start truck with seat belt on - Which seat belt? The passenger one, the driver one? it didn't say to put mine back on, is it just assumed that this means to put mine back on before starting it the final time?

either way, I tried it many ways and it didn't work at all.

Awesome, thanks for trying to help but both links say they have been moved. no bueno. A better idea would be to copy and paste the text info this way shit like this doesn't happen. Maybe I wasn't meant to get rid of my seat belt chime. :(
