I like the guys in the performance and tuning section opinions the best.
So Im trading my 13 veloster for a 13 FRONTIER. I know this is like switching from chevy to ford but the price is a lot better. I haven't decided on the dessert runner with the leather upgrade 2wd or the pro x4 with leather. The sl series is 500 $ more but has aunroof touch screen navigation all the bells and wistles and 4x4 but it has chrome instead of painted bumpers. What are yalls opinion and some prices on tacomas

What do they run? The sl runs 33900 with everything. Nissan is using kat skin on mine of I get a lower package. The dessert runner doesn't have back up cameras or sensors or touch screen for 25000.

Lol everyone is going to tell you to buy a Tacoma.

I'd go with 4X4 no matter what but out off your choices I'd say the Pro-X has the best options

I would suspect actual negotiated out the door prices on the Nissan will be lower, but do keep in mind that the Nissan's resale values will be lower over the life of the truck,,, assuming that the depreciation schedules don't change much anyway. If you plan to keep the truck 5-6+ years this may not be an issue, but anything less then that and you may still come out ahead by buying into the Tacoma.

Also, from what I recall when I was truck hunting 4 or so years ago, the Nissans milage was not as good as the Tacoma. And you can find a 2wd manual Nissan, not so for the Tacoma.

My boss just bought a Nissan Prox4 and it is really nice! I have a DCSB Tacoma and his is the DCSB Frontier, both 4x4. So far, he's within 1 MPG of what my Tacoma gets (we're both getting right around 19 MPG), it rides and drives great and he likes the way it tows. He's coming from a 2004 4Runner V6 and tows a boat that weighs just over 5k lbs (combined boat and trailer weight). Longevity-wise, time will tell how his holds up but initially, I thought the Frontier was a nice truck and significantly cheaper than the Tacoma.

I'm going to check out Toyota today a guy from the Toyota/nissian dealer ship came in driving a new frontier and I asked him which one he liked. He said both are nice but you don't see many nissians come in wilth over 250000miles on it running like new but you see at least 2 Tacomas a week

Biggest selling points for me were Tacoma has much better suspension manners than the Nissan which felt way stiffer, the comfort of the seats--again Tacoma>Fontier, and rear seat leg room--Tacoma blows away the Nissan. Oh and I got a TX Pro set up for 27K in '11

The biggest reason was because yhe back window on the Nissan is only 8in wide and I don't drink much but when I do I may need to lean out it and being 6ft 245 @18% bf I couldn't

Well so far no good. My truck was suspose to be here Friday. Well I left work and went there about six pm they told me it shoild be there by 8 so I said ill ger it sat. Well got up there sat at nine still no truck well lefr and came back about 3pm still no truck. Well Friday they told me they pocked up the wrong truck they grabbed the 30000 one instead of the 28000 one well they said they wouldn't charge any more for it since it waa their fault. So I got a 30000 truck for invoice plus a year end model rebate so 23500 haha. Well they accidentally dropped my truck off at the wrong dealer and had to reroute so if it ain't there Monday I'm going to tell them I want the xspx for the inconvenience. That'll be 4 days in transit and was only suppose to take 48hrs max

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I put over 300k on an 84 KC 2wd. Nissan quality never did me wrong.

They gave me a xspx to drive. Since Im a professional body tech I want to convert mine. I know where to get rhe leather kit and install will be easy (I worked in an upholstery shop for 3 years before going to paint and body and frame shop) now where can I get the flares. I mainly want the flares, leather interior, and wheels and tires maybe the skid plate
