    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    Bad shocks or possibly a nose up stance from a "bro" type lift taking the weight off the front end.

    My work truck does the same thing with normal passenger car tires. Too much weight in the rear, nose up in the front, tires kinda get scrubbed sideways accelerating out of turns, I think. The struts are still good as far as I can tell, not much extra bounce if you consider how it's loaded down.

    The cure is frequent rotation. Put those fronts on the back and they will smooth out again. I let the work truck go 10-12K miles until the fronts get all chopped up, they still smooth out. If it was my own vehicle I would make sure to rotate every 5K or sooner and I would expect that to fix the problem entirely.

    What's tire pressures as well. Low pressure can cause cupping due to the tire "bouncing" down the road.
