Linked and towing? Impossible!!!! LOL Wouldn't do it with a heavy load though. That's just two bikes and gear for a weekend trip. The rear has a spool too so it should be ultra impossible.

And wait a second... What's that about leafs towing heavy loads? LOL

(only drove it around the block to see outta morbid curiosity, only reason it was even hitched up was we were tight on time and I needed my buddy to be able to just back under it, drop it on his hitch and take off so I used the exploder just to load with. But since it was loaded... Well you gotta try it right!!! LOL)

thanks for the help everyone. Shes not too bad with 600 lbs springs and they are breaking in alot. This is her first trail run and already I'm happy with the improvement over mid travel.

How do you like that kit? I have a 3rd gen 4runner and am looking into an affordable kit like you were. How much did the kit and coilovers cost you if you don't mind me asking?

    Lots of expensive shit
He paid 2600 for the kit with coilovers. I offer the modified axles for 600. I'll let him chime in on how he feels about the kit.

The kit works very well. For crawling the extra articulation and width is a big increase for me. I've taken a few lines with ease now that used to be a bit hairy with mid travel. Unexpectedly the truck also handles better on the street with much less body roll. Cant forget that she's now stupid fast in the bumps and that been a ton of fun. Without tuning its still faster then I need it to be.

I went with the FOA option and I would have to say thats a great way to save money if you not afraid to work on your own shocks. One is already leaking and both need more oil/ and re-positioning of the piston inside the reservoir. That is no fault of the kit though and I am glad there was a entry level option to get me to make the leap to LT.

I wrote up what I learned on my home forum but I'll copy paste it here in case its helpful to this forum. I was/am a complete noob to LT but I'm getting there lol. oh and you dont need to weld in the spindle plug. I had to since my spindles were already egged out with a previous mid travel plug.

Hey thank you so much for the response I learned a lot and I think this will be the kit I'm going to install on my 4runner. I just have to come up with the money!

100%, Im a crawler Expedition wheeler with LT dont go light spring and push pre-load to acquire height, it will become too bouncy. my Valving is for fast and with a load, makes "0" difference crawling.

    last time out wheeling
