I'm not scared of the NCAA in the Fluker thing. The Yahoo guys said they won't talk to the NCAA or reveal sources, and it's been proven lately that if you don't talk to the NCAA (or don't tell them the truth, or whatever), then they're pretty toothless.

Going to be hard for the NCAA to come down hard on a guy who was trying to help his family out a little bit. Dude was a Katrina victim, for fuck's sake. Hard to argue he didn't get some kind of benefits, BUT If the school didn't know, and if the school cooperates and SHOWS that it didn't know and (couldn't have reasonably been expected to know) then not much will happen.

    Like I said.... ain't skeered.

This is an excellent read by another Yahoo! Sports guy, Dan Wetzel.

Nick Saban wasn't a fan of the non-TAMU questions he was getting at yesterday's post-practice presser...

I have to say......I LOVE THIS IDEA:

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...ver-cops-wearing-opponent-010244193--nfl.html

I wish they could do that shit in the college games. I hate when our fans cause shit with opponents fans. Fucking bullshit. I PRAY this weekend our fans treat the Rocky Topper fans with nothin but NICE!!!

I had friends and family go to the Tennessee game back in Tennessee and they said the fans (Michigan fans also in Ann Arbor) were awesome people and made the game even more fun.

One of the best ideas have heard in a while... Have been to a few games where opposing SEC fans just plain suck, to put it nicely.

I agree. Personally (and Ross I am not attacking you) I have been treated better at UW in Husky Stadium then I have at Autzen. Oregon have some of the worst fans. But at the same time, my wife while in college had grown men calling her a bitch while at UW for the Oregon game. I never understood why there were so many CMS personal in the stands at WSU. But looking back I totally agree and wish there were more.

Yeah I've seen stupid shit over the decades at Duck games.

I went into the Mo center right before halftime to get some beers. I got 4 of them and went to a table. At the table was one guy in USC gear. I said "hey man, USC is giving us some problems"....he says "yeah they aren't doing to bad". Then I asked why he was in the Mo center so early and by himself. He said 10 minutes into the game a duck "fan" spit on him and dumped a beer on him. I said "What the fuck"!!!!

I bought him 2 beers and told him sorry multiple times. I said "I know a couple beers ain't gonna fix the bullshit but I'm sorry" "all of us arent like that."

I mean WTF! He pays for a ticket and all that shit and has to sit in a building watching it on a tv??????

Sure, I hope the fans treat the other fans well, but I hope you guys rape their football team to where they can't even butt-chug anymore.

What's the line now? Opened at like 26 points.

Apparently, some of the frat douches here at MSU throw beer down onto the student section after MSU scores a touchdown. I didn't see any beer thrown at the last game, but the section next to us got hit with a roll of toilet paper.

How do you get beer in the game?

And that's just a waste of alcohol

People sneak it in. The guy that use to sit in front of me for years worked for Budweiser. He would hand me beers all the time.

Good question. I figured you would know being from Louisisana and such. I've seen flasks of whiskey at Bama games

2 years ago we were tailgating in the Mason lodge, and a buddy and I were standing in line for the shitters. A couple drunk Oregon fans started talking shit to us saying "hey cougs, how do you like this" as they were pissing on the license plate of a truck. The license plate was from WA. I told them that was nice that they were pissing on a "Go Ducks" license plate cover and asked if they could read. They got all pissed off and walked away. I would have been pissed if someone pissed on my truck.

Oh, we sneak hard liquor in all day long. It's the big cans of beer that I don't get. Plus they search us a little harder going into the student section

It's a lot easier when it gets colder and you have multiple layer of clothes on. Like have a bottle in the front pocket of a hoodie with a coat zipped up over the hoodie. My friends and I got a whole handle of Jack in the stadium and mixed drinks the whole game. We were smashed by the end of that game, but were ever not hostile toward the other fans. Most of the time we would just each sneak in a small bottle liquor or about 4 cans of beer each half.

I worked as a cook and bartender on the suite and club levels at Boone Pickens Stadium for the OSU games my last two years. The day before we would stock up all the suite's with all the booze they ordered through the catering company. The Club level has multiple bars setup, but you can not take the alcohol out to your seat, it had to remain in the designated area.

Like I've said, I've only heard and read of it happening, I've never seen it or had beer thrown on me at a game.
