I had to modify the contactor control box bracket so I can just attach it to the winch instead of making a bracket. I cut it off and moved it over about 3/4" and welded it back on.

    The modified bracket worked perfectly!
The contactor control box fits great. Got it all wired up and spooled up the new rope :D

Yup, just waiting on sliders now. Alex helped load the rope. Wife was in the truck riding the brake a little, rope was stretched out to a tree at the end of our driveway pulling the truck slightly uphill. She even helped run the rigging. I went over the manual with her and all the safety points prior to loading the rope.

    Skids or sliders?
Skids are pelfreybilt, sliders are beefed taco bolt ons. He's making me some custom wide, no kickout, slightly less angled sliders with full plating. Pretty much a slider step.

His comes with the nuts on a stick. I really wish famous fab was still making them tho. I love the huge side plates. It's like a frame doubler!

Thanks Anthony :) means a lot coming from you. My truck is turning into a mini low budget version of your truck
I gonna get some empty paper towel rolls, paint them black and make a fake snorkel next :D
I saw the pic in IG. Very cool. I am following you too ;)

Thanks! The bushwackers are great if you like the look. They only stick out about an inch more than the stock flares, so you are looking for more coverage, you may be disappointed. Also, you cant use the stock flaps with these.

I was thinking red locktite in the padlock on his toolbox :D

Thanks! MGM is a great color isnt it?!? :) i just waxed my hood and even tho it still has some trail pinstripes, it looks soo good! Still not done with mods yet. Got more skids on the way, sliders and thinking about going to 650# coils soon too. Noticed I had some rake now.

Nope. I had to make a pair for the rear real quick because I heard that I need them to pass reconstruction inspection. I used 3/16" nylon mesh reinforced neoprene rubber "scraps" from work. We use this for some gaskets in the shipyard. I did use the stock flaps as a template tho. They were supposed to be temporary, but they are still on there...

    have any more scraps? :D

red lock-tite sounds like a fun bit.

could go as far as adding a second lock to his box, or securing his box facing a wall :p
