I've been walking around for almost two hours this morning taking pictures with the new 85mm. This is presently my favorite lens. I love my 35 but find that I can get a lot more shots out here where I can't just walk up within a few feet of my subject. I took some of some construction workers and some brick masons and not one even knew I was there. I highly recommend this lens can't wait to get home and check them out on my huge 13" screen haha

 

went out to shoot the moon tonight, BUT i have misplaced my tripod....... really really really wanted to shoot at 300mm tonight


oh well had some fun with the 10-22 and now just having some fun with lightroom - really really pissed however the camera is not set in raw....... oh well you live you learn, I really need to start taking more photos again




and this shot everything just lined up perfectly!!!!! i love putting the camera in weird spots and the 10-22 made everything just pop - probably one of my favorite photos ive shot to date

 

so..set it to RAW?..takes like 2 seconds..??



i have been bored..took some rando shots..whatever..haha

 

it is now..... but its a little too late for that.... fucking hell, the wife must have been using the cannon as a point and shoot again ....

 

Well I shot the moon, time exposure of the stars, and did a time exposure of the truck for 10 minutes in the dark. The damn PNY pro card I was using decided to crap out on me and refuse to let me d/l anything off of it. It now has dual sandisk cards in it.

I had to buy a third tripod last weekend cause I've managed to misplace the 2 others I have. lol

 

Nice Monte, randoms are sometimes the best! That dog one is kinda cool cuz the eyes are open ha, he/she looks bummed.

was bored and went on like a 10+ mile bike ride. Took the camera naturally. Some shots from today that i liked.

 

Picture 6 reminds me of the pagoda at indianapolis haha. Always fun seeing your pictures since they're off the same exact cam

but yea man i know haha and same editing program. Always fun to see different results from the same stuff.

MAN! i cant wait till my 70-200 vrii gets in. i was also debating on getting an ultrawide 10mm fisheye and perhaps a extra body. but i think the ultrawide is coming in first.

 

I'd love to have a wide angle lens..70-300 would be fun too.

 

I just got the 10-24 and am trying to get down to the capitol building here to really test it out. Not nearly as cool in my living room . . . haha

 

Adorama has refurbished D800s going for $2,400 with free shipping. If I could afford that and lenses I'd be a happy camper, but I thought some may want to see it.
