A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Yeah. When it comes time to replace the exhaust I would never ever "punch" the cat to knock out all of the BS.

Stupid on a v6 like what's the point. I hate when I can hear a vehicle from 1/4 mile away and 190hp isn't even on the ground. Good luck passing visual inspection. I love busting people's balls on inspection. If I'm in s bad mood and your cars ugly. Ill fail you for "front end play" or "an exhaust leak minor"

x2. Truth be told, if I ever got headers I'd get short tubes.

And that's why I don't go to dealerships for inspections...

Headers don't mean it has to be loud and sound like a rice rocket. Headers, new crossover pipe and a decent exhaust and you've got a pretty decent setup that would sound nice.

My headers are cracked, so I'm getting long tubes, deleting two cats, throwing in an O2 sim, and probably punching out the other 2.

All they do is make my exhaust smell like eggs

My friend worked at an inspection station somewhere in or near Worcester. Some guy was being a jackass, so she failed him for his license plate.

Yup..it was old and not totally reflective like it should be.

    What a bitch haha

Similar reasons that I don't replace exhausts on any vehicle I've ever owned until I have to. I know you can get a little power gain and sound with aftermarket but I find it hard to rationalize that against tossing something that works just fine, at least on that which is my daily driver.

Even on my Camaro I left the stock muffler in place, then when that broke replaced with Thrush Sonics. It was a little louder when you got on it but still sounded quiet at idle so every cop in town wasn't beelining for me.

The good old days when they were all that way..or if the emissions were too high they'd just turn a screw, get it down, sticker, turn it back..

    Hi people!

Does anyone know anyone that's looking to buy a set of the sports wheels? I'm looking to sell a set of sports wheels with the lugs, tires, and TPMS.

    Why long tubes vs. short?

x2, except the ones around me are eastern European but same result, 2 minute inspection and done.

I'd like $300 for it. I'll take pictures of the wheels tonight. I don't remember if the wheels are damaged, but the tires look like they suck. I bought my 4runner used so whatever the condition was at the time.

Tires look like they suck as in no tread left?

Throw up a picture, if your wheels are in better shape than mine, I might grab them from you and use mine as winter wheels.

My Trans Am came stock with Magnaflow. It was pretty quiet under normal driving, but I could still drown out all the ricers when needed.
