    Hey all,

My name is Jake and I just recently traded up from a 2009 VW GTI to a 2013 Taco. Although I am new to the whole truck thing, I have spent a lot of time at various race tracks around the country working in series from Grand Am and ALMS to Pirelli World Challenge, doing engineering work for various teams. So far I have had my Tacoma for 2 weeks now, and I have already fallen in love with it. How many people on here are from the Denver area?

Welcome. Not Denver, but I'm 10 hours West in SLC, UT.

I think it is going to depend on conditions and the type of tires you have. I can't officially answer because I just got mine a little over a month ago. However, it is a 'heavy' vehicle with 4x4 - so I don't think you'll be getting stuck - especially in Denver. Now if you're trying to go plow through 3' deep snow a couple miles into the back-country...

Welcome to the forum! I'm jealous; I wish a 2013 Tacoma had been within the realm of possibility when I bought mine. I had to settle for a 2010. Oh well; I like the steering wheel on the '10's better anyway.

    One question for you though:
My Spanish is a little rusty (haven't used it any since high school), but I'm pretty sure that "El Pollo Loco" translates to "The Crazy Chicken" in English....

    Ah, I see.
That's what I get for not watching more fiction; it tends to make you take things literally...
