I can get a set of 5 of these for $280. What do you think? They are 16x8, 6 on 5.5, with 4" backspacing.

    Look at build!

get 3.75 backspacing if possible! I run those tires on my moms DC in the 265 flavor and they run taller than my Km2's in the same size.. hers rub on the frame with the stock wheels and iirc the stock wheels are 4" bs..

On another note, I will be making a return soon...

Well I am running 4" right now with the 15 inch steels right now. I'd like the 3.75, but I can't get them for the same price.

Well hell, that means these rims won't work then for the new tires. I guess I gotta keep looking then.

Gotcha. All of your bullet points make sense 100% as far as the argument against weights. The bead thing I still don't understand, but I'll chalk that up to not fully understanding all of the forces at play. I'd think if there was a low spot in the tire, they'd settle there, and not necessarily settle at the opposite spot to balance it out. One of those things where someone needs to do a cutaway with a clear sidewall to demonstrate at speed. That'd be pretty trick.

The other thing, mine have really lightweight beads in them, I can't imagine it amounts to much more than a few oz. With some offroad tires in the 37 and up range taking nearly (or sometimes over) a lb to balance, I don't understand how it's enough weight either.

Are the stock wheels for a first gen? If so, I might, depending on the price. PM me that info or text me and I'll let ya know.
