Yep, Aurora roads have fallen apart, Lights completely down, Heard it shut down arvada last night as well.

 

Ironic how on days you'd like to have to do whatever you want, really nice out, are usually the days stuff like work or school gets in the way of having fun but days that the weather is woeful you get to spend at home.

It's about 70 degrees Fahrenheit here with a pleasant breeze and I feel like a prisoner because I'm stuck inside.

 

You should know the grass is always greener on the other side.

I've been making my way around town all morning checking out the damage. Most roads are closed though and you can't get in or out of my town.

I saw all the roads in Manitou springs were closed down. Also a lot of them going into Johnstown up north.

 

boulder was hit hard, i have tons of friends there with 2-3 feet of water in their houses. Lyon, just north of boulder, was completely surrounded by water and national guard hard to go in. I'm in fort collins and there was only 2 ways in or out b/c of the Poudre river was flooding which cut off most bridges leading to the highway. Also I-25 running north and south through colorado had about a 30 mile stretch shut down from about fort collins to the wyoming border.

 

Not when the cops keep me down! I actually drove through a flash flood on accident once lol

Anywhere where there's a river or creek lol. Mostly north it seems at least in FoCo.

This was the bridge I was watching. If you look down by the logs you can see where it's bowing. It would have most likely taken out the car bridge next to it as well. That roof is covering a bike path.

There were several Tacoma's washed away from boulder. Our crews made it a point to tell me. then I told them I drive a 4runner haha.

 

Hope there isn't too much damage. Had no idea that there was that much flooding. Wish I could give you guys some of the weather we're having over here.

 

Oh yeah it's pretty bad. Pretty much every city is considered a disaster area. Lots of places where people are stuck.

 

So for math this weekend, I have to write a small lesson plan on Bloom’s Cognitive Domain Taxonomy. First, I don't know a damn thing about him, or his plans. Secondly, isn't this math class?

 

I'm going to rely on it myself. I don't even really understand the homework they way she has it worded. Oh well.

 

I don't have my civilian passport. Haven't needed it. Plus I have some family stuff going on next weekend.

Yes that's a Kansas plate, doesn't mean he's in Kansas though! I ran New Mexico plates in Ohio for a month.

Edit: nevermind, I see the star now, it's a Texas plate.
