Has anyone gotten pulled over here for no license plate yet? Because this guy just did. Luckily it was my high school SRO so he let me off with a warning. Good thing too dont have the money for a 200$ fine.

The dealer screwed my bumper already so I'll just keep it there. Too lazy to fix it.

    Still gonna sell it?

And I've narrowed it down to my brakes I think. If I press down hard on the brakes it makes a noise. I'm pretty sure their is a pad sticking or something. Is that possible? I jacked it up today and spun the tires and tried to wiggle them. Bearings seemed fine. Almost steered in either direction multiple times with no noise. Put it back on the ground and steered in both directions with the power steering on and off with no noise. Noise only happens pretty much when I'm using/ just released the brakes. Any ideas what I can check? Bosch quiet glide rotors and O'Riley ceramic pads

Pull the caliper on whatever side you think is the problem. I rebuild my driver side one for $14 (buy 2 rebuild kits bc you'll break the rubber boots trying to figure out how to put it on at first). The calipers are a 4 piston design that is absolutely retarded. I sincerely hope the Map engineer who designed them got fired.
I ended up having to buy new rotors and pads bc one of the 2 of the calipers pistons boots had broken which kept the pad pressed against the rotor all the time.

Whenever I jacked it up the wheel spun freely. Still cause these symptoms? Could the pads just be shit maybe?

Its not the ABS kicking in is it, when it does it do you feel the brake pedal pulsating when the grinding noise starts. Just a thought.

Check all of the caliper bolts to make sure they are tight.

    Definitely not ABS

Aaron I checked them all and they all seemed tight. Any idea what the torque spec is?
