As much as I screw around at home. I don't mess around at work. No way would my crew have done that. But we also have a zodiac on our department. We drove through deep water yesterday and last night but it was never even close to that high up. Not worth losing a half a million to a million dollar truck.

Showed my chief that video and he said if we did anything like that he would have removed us from duty instantly.

And here is why, Fredrick got an engine stuck... And the Longmont video was a tower which is even a more expensive truck.

I would hold off on a claim until you have a roofer take a look tell you the cost to fix,if its worth using the insurance then i would file a claim, insurance companies are getting picky about how many claims you file even if you don't get a pay out on them, they also stay with you like points on your license for 5 years

That's what I said. I think they improved some spots as the spots that usually flooded didn't. The spots that did have water were blocked off by barricade or cop.

Can't get up there to see. Got an email from the builder saying we will hear when they can get in. It has a roof on it so I'm hoping to too bad. The good thing is I haven't paid for it yet lmao.

If anything I would think this would be real good for the foundation.
They build houses way too quick now a days. The concrete in the foundation is too green to ever properly compact the dirt around it.

I can't tell you how many times I've seen people's air conditioning units literally hanging off the side of the house after the first big rain creates a giant sink hole around the foundation.

In other words, a ton of moisture should compact the soil around his foundation and they can fill in any sink holes before landscaping.
