My First Toyota, have been driving Dodge Rams for about 15 years, and this is my first diversion from the Brand. Just had no use for a full size CTD so decided to down size. Had a hard time deciding between a white one and a the gray one, here is what I chose:

    TRD offroad, Towing Package, Manual.

I don't have to many plans for her as far as mods go... has the clear bra, tinted the front windows, swapped the tires for 265/75/R16 ATs, and have ordered an Access Roll up Bed Cover.

I hope to gain a lot of knowledge, from what I've read so far there is a lot around here, and hope not to get bitten by the mod bug to badly. :D

Manual transmission? Double cab? That's pretty rare.

    Thanks for the Welcome.

Yes Double Cab with a 6 speed manual, are they rare? I don't know, the white one I was looking at was the exact same configuration only in white. Thought it was a normal set up.

If your on here it means you want to catch the mod bug. This site convinced me that I need to lift my taco. Run, don't look back and run! Kidding. I spent many hours using the search function here. You'll like it.

Your gonna miss the power of the CTD but tacoma will make up for it in reliability and off road ability.

    Welcome to TW.

Thanks again for the welcome and the replies, Yes the Tacoma was the only option to go smaller and the MGM was the right color. This truck will never come close to the power my CTD had, but it doesnt need to, its fun to drive with the stick.

As far as Offroading it, maybe down the road, but I have a mildly built CJ7 for wheeling fun.

Welcome! I have to keep reminding myself that I don't need to mod mine for awhile, as I too already have a wheeling rig (mine's a LR Discovery). But, I do like reading up on it for when the day comes.
