considering a lift kit

I have an 02 double cab that I am considering lifting approximately 3". Can anyone tell me how much of an impact this has with the ride and comfort level? I've used Skyjacker lifts for my Jeep wranglers. Can anyone advise me what type to use and why? My truck is 4WD

 

Welcome to TW, I went with a Revtec 3" lift and it's pretty good, It rides a little stiffer bc it's just a spacer lift. But Im soon getting rid of my rear blocks and getting an Add-a-Leaf lift from toytec. Rear spacer blocks are the worst type of lift for these trucks, thats what Ive heard. Toytec is the most popular, seeing's how they specialize in toyota lifting. I would check them out at Toyteclifts.com. Hope this helps ya!

 

I have a 3" Toytec. Like EverTaco said, it stiffens the ride a little bit, but the price was right and I was able to install it at home. I have a bunch of pictures in my gallery of the installation process.

 

ez-lift spacers dont go in your coil so hardly no affect on ride.. I prefer them over revtek or toy tec .... daystar's ride good too since they aren't metal they have some give to them for the ride
