Seriously considering it as my 2014 project. Have a tonne of research to do before I'm going to be comfortable with it. If you are up for helping out, let me know.

My other option is getting a Lefty.

Dang, buddy. If I have the time I'd definitely be down to help here and there! In fact, I' love it. :D I can't really commit to more than that though, since the very reason I'm selling my truck is cause it takes up a lot of time (it's not just a money issue).

:( After college. More than likely...

Gonna try to fill my spare time with more worthwhile things such as working out and eating right instead of not working out, forgetting to eat, and staying up till 3am drinking a butt-load of caffeine while working on my truck. (As much as I love that!! lololol!;))

I used to be able to run a 5:45 mile, and do fairly well in crossfit workouts my pararescue buddies would do. Got a 98.7 out of 100 on my Air Force PFT score back in the day (2 weeks after being on crutches for 6 weeks). I want to get back into that! For Peter's sake, I'm 6' 3" and only a buck 55. M health is in jeopardy at this point. :p

Besides, aren't you supposed to be the voice of my pops in this?

I hear ya', Silas. My truck projects are getting down to 3 hour time slots. If I don't think I can get it done in 3 hours, it don't get started. One of these days I'm going to have to get a second car so I can let it sit on long projects.

As for the 155, eat. And if you can't eat, drink chocolate milk and whey protein. Best mass gainer ever.

Oh come on. I do crossfit 4-5 times a week and don't drink any caffeine..and still stayed up till 1-2am working on mine..

And I do still back up your pops...but really...your truck has been so hacked up and customized..yet..not custom enough..as in no sac..I don't see a ifs truck like yours going for more then 9k  I wouldn't even pay more then 8k...and I love your truck.

So..you either need to slash the price and get it out the door..or realize you love it too much..and sac the damn thing and keep it forever :)

Brands really kind of don't matter. Many companies buy from the same suppliers and rebrand it. Whey is left over from cheese processing. So funny, the dairies used to just throw it out. Don't worry about hydrolyzed, too expensive and you don't need the benefit.

Dymatize, Optimum Nutrition, MusclePharm and even GNC store brand are all good stuff IMO. Go for what is tasty to you.

Also, consider a casein powder for right before bed. Cottage cheese is rich in casein if you like that stuff.

I still say he should keep it and learn to live with where it is for now. It's paid off and he knows how to work on it. That, and he gets to go blow some stress off by wheeling it. If he sells it, he knows he's just going to blow a bunch of money after he graduates and gets a job on buying another 1st Gen and modding the shit out of it again.

Speaking of which, go sign up for the North Rim Run on the 13th of Oct, Silas.

    Yes good plan too..

I'm actually likening the part out idea and save the rest of it for after college..win win. Get some money for the said "investment". Keep the truck for sac after college.

Thanks for the tips, man. Cottage cheese es no bueno! :D I'll look into casein powder as well, then...

I was planning on hitting you up before going out to buy some whey and supplements.

Parting out is always a viable option... Will have to break out the calculator. That would make me sad though...... lol I kinda want the green dragon to live on. We'll see.....

But it will! Like..act like you where doing a SAC right now. Think of all the stuff you would get rid of that you could sell.

Sell that..cut out the ifs and then put the truck on blocks and wait for college to be over. Hello graduation gift! SAC project!

 I actually kinda like that. :D 3 years should be plenty of time to plan the ultimate SAC! Would have to get my own place first though, or find a cheap place to store it. Will look into that.... ;)
