Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
He has 700lb coils, less miles, better shape probably. My set screws are rounded out so one of the adjustment plates can't be moved without damaging threads. My bushings are also near the end of their life. I only ran them for a few weeks, then pulled them off for a rebuild and other stuff came up so i didnt wanna dish out the cash. Now more stuff came up lol, so you have a few weeks before ill make moves with my suspension.

Out the door at 0600, rolling back in at 2100... Long effin' day.

From what I've read in Toyota Owners, Burke recommends rollers with synth as well because of the friction making an off camber pull is lessened.

    Not even Capri Sun?

Where did you go to school, if you don't mind me asking? I grew up in upstate and also went to college there. I grew up just across the NY boarder where MA and VT meet NY. My dad's side of my family live in Plattsburg, mom's side in Utica area and I went to school way, way upstate in Potsdam. From Albany north, I love New York State!

Plattsburg, I always saw that exit from the highway. I attended Hartwick College in Oneonta. I went way up to Geneseo, Ithica, Chittenango, Potsdam, and some other towns I don't remember.

Yeah, it's the sign you see right before 'Welcome to Canada'. It's weird visiting up there, the exits are double named 'Exit' and 'Sortie' because it's soo close to Canada. When I was in college, we used to make weekend trips to Canada all the time. One of the perks of going to college in the middle of nowhere.

    Is Danville somewhere near Geneseo?
I have a bunch of distant family from that area.

Yeah it's modded. I suppose a similarly built Tacoma would be just as good but it would also cost a ton of money to build.

And huge brass balls to cut up a brand new truck and drag it through a rock garden like that!

Haha, yeah. I was referring to cutting it up to install the exo-cage but yeah, that too.

I don't know how some of those left coast guys do it. I saw a couple of them take a brand spanking new Tacoma and cut it to hell to go long travel.

going to be doing front and rear diff as well as transfer case fluids soon. planning on doing Mobil 1 synthetic 75w85 in the front, Mobil 1 Conventional 75w85 in the rear + LSD additive and M1 75w90 synthetic in the trans case. this is what the manual calls for. don't think I wanna put synthetic in the rear with the LSD though. heard it will start making noise. thoughts?

Visited a chick at New England College in Henniker tonight. Kid down the hall loved my truck. He's got a Toyota pickup 83' with a 22R solid axle whole 9 yards Nd another kid had a Chevy 2500 HD fabtech DB lift on 40s with 20 inch wheels. Did the stupidest thing I've done in a LONG ASS TIME. I ran the trails we did when I was stock. I had no issue nor did the other yota but god damn it was pitch black out. Rock lights saved me 100%! The Chevy was a nightmare. Quad cab long bed duramax HUGE land yacht. Navigating and spotting him just sucked. Broke rear drive shaft. Had To limp out in front wheel drive. Got on the trail at 7:45 just going to bed in the shitty ass college supplied, way to short, not made for 2 people or a 6'4" person. Night all.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma

Just use the synthetic in all 3. The rear diff from '09 and up does not use conventional clutches for the LSD it uses the rear brakes. You also do not need any additive for the same reason. I have been running Redline synthetic in them since 30K and everything has been great. Almost time for me to change them again.
