That cut is super clean. What did you use to do it?

Cut off wheel on a angle grinder , taped it .measured it multiple times, got my line then taped a 3 foot straight edge metal ruler on my line and used that as my cut off wheel guide. Easy Peasy!

Yes i'm really 46....whatcha tryin to say?
I've got 3 guys that i'm going wheelin with in October. They are all over 60.
One guy keeps his caged, linked, all King and Solo Motorsports supsension in his hangar with his plane.
There is so much custom shit on this truck its amazing. I'll bet he spent at least 60k or more on it.

This guy is all King shocks Solo Motorsports suspension. Rear is caged, Giant leafs with a currie axle.

These guys dont come here they do their own thing...loaded with cash. Their trucks are completly built by someone else. Hell they are amazed at what i've done to my truck all by myself..Thats why i'm invited along on their Barstow to Laughlin run...when they break their truck i'm their to fix it for them ;) My plan is to tell them their shock is ruined and they need to buy a new one....and I keep what they think they broke....."ya buddy that bypass is shot time for new ones...i'll take care of this one for you"

Installed a XRC8 comp winch with synthetic rope and a Factor 55 thimble. I'm all ready for my 2WD problems now!

I have the same wench but the xrc10..

It will preform better , smoother and queiter if you take it a part and decrease it. The factory grease that is packed inside is superduper extra thick. I have a link if you want it

I'm pretty sure I read that already.
One of the things mentioned is that its real hard to pull out free wheel because of the grease they used. Well I didn't have one problem with it, it free wheeled just fine the very first time I used it....not much effort at all really.

Went over to and industrial park hooked it up to a pole and spooled in the entire length of rope under tension and all worked well......so far.

Your right Hiatt...i should just give it to you.

Well in the words of my son yesterday "Are you really going to cut a hole in your brand new bumper".....Answer: "Why yes son I am"
So I broke out the 1 inch hole saw and put a hole right in front of the winch Solenoid box to relocate the winch controller socket to the bumper. The socket before this was right in line with the bottom of my grill, so the grill had to come off to plug it in. Best part of the deal was the wires for the socket were long enough to reach so no splicing required!
I just sealed up the hole in the top of the solenoid box with some silicone and all good to go.
