I dont want to offend anyone but coming from NS, then driving through Maine, NH and the other states, when you get to NY I was blown away with how dirty, and poor it looked. Garbage was everywhere in some places and it just did not live up to what it was suppose to be IMO. I will never go back. Im keeping our trips in the New England area from now on. Few spots down town were cool to see but nothing more

I agree fully. I got lost in some NY suburbs in April and it looked like Lawrence or Lynn. Dirty, dingy, run down, and over-all miserable. Did NOT feel like it deserves to be called the Empire State. The empire has fallen a long time ago.

You need to know people with money in manhattan lol, then your opinion of NYC will be different. I love the city. I would never live there though, if i was ever to move to a bigger city it would be boston or somewhere out west/northwest

We New Englanders can FIX that for you....

If you want, travel through Vermont to get to the REAL New York STATE....Map out RT 4 from White River through Vermont and once you leave Castleton,VT the 2 states basically intertwine; Whitehall,NY to the Hudson Falls,Glen Falls area is a beautiful ride...

Stowe, Vt is one of my favorites. Mt. Mansfield specifically. I can't wait a few more years and I can retire to Walpole, Nh. Then Stowe will be half the distance. Walpole, Nh is awesome too. Central location with great soil. Gonna have a hell of a vegetable garden. State snowmobile trails cuts right through my property and goes straight up to Pittsburg and then some. Can't wait to get outta this wretched state. I will miss the beautiful coastline though.

I know when I was on route 9 around Albany, it didn't look dirty, but looked mostly like farm land.

I agree with Rob, you don't have a mechanical limited slip so no concerns with running synthetic and no need for the LSD additive.

Damn, what part of NY were you traveling through? There are a lot of areas that were hit hard by economic downturn. There were a handful of towns that were basically being supported by whatever industry was there, the company folded for whatever reason and you're left with basically a bankrupt town. The worst part was, in some areas, the industry contaminated so much of the land, the residents can't even sell their property and move away. There are few counties like that south of Albany and a few more way up north.

I miss riding a my motorcycle through places like that. Riding in MA can't even come close in comparison until you get about 10 miles outside of 495.

Dave, I have no idea. Sadly, my weekends are wasting away, seems there's always a ton of stuff to do between the house and the baby!

I really, really hope yours would take mine both in a straight line and on a track, otherwise you overpaid :p

    There is always the spring.

Idk you have a 750 that makes less torque and has good top end.
