i always have a buddy take a video or set my phone on the ground and film when doing heavier olympic lifts or going for a max its super helpful to look at after each rep. With so much going on during an oly lift you can always find something you do wrong haha

Of my sets of 10x215, I'm counting like 2 or 3 solid form reps

Guess I have another thing to work on

Same here. I told my g/f the day she cleans a deer will be the day I get a manicure...

And, like you, I am also a hard-gainer. Currently, I'm 5'11'' & 195 lbs @ 10% bf and when I started working out a few years ago, I was 5'11'' and 140 lbs. @ 10% bf. My gym time is basic...4 days a week, 1 hr workout max

    Mon: chest, tri's, and calves
    Wed: back, bi's and abs
    Fri: legs and calves
    Sat: shoulders and abs

I do very little cardio...being a "hard gainer", cardio is the devil. All the calories you consume to gain weight are burned off by doing cardio. I probably run a mile a week lol...if that. I eat 6-8 meals a day. No counting calories, carbs, protein, and fats and all that b/s. Each meal consists of a source of protein, carbs, and a fruit or vegetable.

    Sample meal:
    grilled chicken breast
    corn
    wheat bagel

2 of my meals are ON Serious Mass, which accounts for around 1500 calories, when mixed with milk.

It's very easy to gain weight. If you've been on a consistent diet and aren't gaining, EAT! I even go as far as making sure I eat at least 1 'bad' meal per week, just to get extra calories. Maybe a Whopper or KFC or something lol. I know it's kinda taboo, though lol.

 For some reason I died reading "the bee's knees".

I ordered some today, though. Got another order of Whey, Casein, Amino Energy and Creatine, so I threw some Serious Mass in there to try it out. Can't hurt.

Get it, son! You've probably already told us in here, but how big are you (height, weight)?

I'll have another super late (9pm) workout tomorrow, so I'm not gonna hit chest like I'm supposed to. Gonna wait til Tuesday so i'll have my buddy in there with me to spot so I can try for 255 on bench, which would be a PR.

It might be dumb to some of you guys but I was wondering if some of you drink a castein protein shake after coming home from drinking?. I do just because I don't want to eat bar food.

    Get it!

The only thing I hate about being an ectomorph is prepping meals. I love eating, I just hate cooking and getting it all ready. I think al ectomorphs want to be endo and mesoporphs and vice versa. I think I'd rather be a hard gainer, rather than a hard weight loser, just because I hate cardio and like to have too many cheat meals.

So, you're taking regular whey along with Serious Mass? How many shakes do you do a day? The Serious Mass says 2 scoops per serving, but it's so thick, so I break it down into 2 shakes throughout the day. I've wanted to try adding another regular whey shake sometime throughout the day.

haha the only thing I drink after a long night out is gatorade!

Right now I do whey post workout then casein before bed. When I get my other in i'll probably drink one in the morning, so I'll end up with 3 a day, maybe 4 if I decide to drink another SM shake sometime though out the day

Cool. I think I'm gonna start adding a regular whey shake, along with my 2 Mass Gainer shakes. A word of advise on the Mass Gainer: It says 2 scoops a day, but I started out and 1 scoop a day and got no results. After moving up to 2 scoops, I starting gaining weight. It sucks b/c the scoops are sooooo big and the bag only lasts a few weeks, but it definitely puts some weight on ya. And if you put 2 scoops in 1 shake, it's gonna be like syrup...I do a scoop in the morning and one after I workout.

My casein was really thick, too, when I was just doing it in a shaker cup. Do you use a blender or just a shaker? I bought a $26 blender from wal mart, the Oster "my blend" or somethin like that. Pour everything in the cup that comes with it, put the blades on, blend it, change out the blades with the regular lid, and you're good to go. Made my casein shake soooooo much thinner.

The gym I work at has a Margaritaville Blender, so when I'm there, I blend them, but I just got a MusclePharm shaker bottle and it blends really well. I use ON Casein protein and it's not thick at all. (I'm an ON whore). Their Serious Mass scoops are just so big that you've got to either split it into 2 shakes or it'll be like drinking tar lol.
