    Hey, Guys!

I'm new to TW. Just recently got rid of my 06 ram and got my taco!
My Ram was running a 6" BDS lift and 37s. All of my previous trucks have been lifted, so of course that's what I'm doing to this one! I'm not lifting it too tall because my Ram was a bit too tall lol just want this one sitting a little up there to make it a head turner. So ill open with a question: Im getting the 3" pro comp lift with the Coil spring spacers and the block for the rear axle. I know a 33" will be the biggest tire I can run. I really want the 305/75r16 mudd grapplers but will I be able to fit them with that lift? On stock rims? Ill attach pictures of my truck now. The tires on it right now are 255/70r16

    Thanks guys!

The Pro Comp lift you are considering is on the worst end of the spectrum for 3" lifts. Read up on the guide here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/11282-tacoma-lift-faq-guide-read.html

305/75r16 doesn't exist for Mud Grapplers: http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/mudgrappler#size If you step down to 305/70R16 (33" tire), then some fender flare plastic trimming is needed to fit it. If you step up to 315/75R16 (35"), then a cab mount chop is most likely necessary. Note both tire sizes require wider wheels with less backspacing then the stock wheels you have now, so figure that into your budget.

I'm not arguing with your knowledge by any means, and thank you for the reply! But this guys is running the pro comp lift with stock rims and the 305 NITTOS.

Usually the problem is when wheeling. Once you compress your suspension, then the clearance issues come out.

Yeah, I gotcha. Thanks for the reply btw! I won't be wheeling in this one. She'll be a street queen until its time for a new vehicle in a couple years.

Check out the Nitto web site link in my post. The 305/70R16 size shows approved rim width to be 8.0-9.5". While it may be physically possible to fit the tire on the OEM 16x7.0" rim, reliability and life may be compromised. The tire may pop off the bead more often. The extra sidewall flex may cause the tire to fail earlier. etc.
