    That's what I'm more worried about. I mean most the trips I've done have tons of high way miles. I mean this last meet was as close as it gets and even then I ended up 15 hours away haha

    Hwy is what I'm more worried about.

    4.88's sound like the way to go then get a crawlbox, turbo, SC, ..... whatever floats yer boat as funds allow.


    this all coming from my extensive knowledge and first hand experience with gears of course :rolleyes:

    I have 35s going on at Xmas. I need gears.

    But crawlbox lockers and more power are still on the list. I'm still leaning towards a motor swap personally..

    If I could have done 5.29's I would have! And your 1st gen auto is geared higher than mine even.

    5.29's on 33's would put you at about 2850rpm at 75 mph. Monte currently runs about 2650rpm at 75 mph (this is all according to a calculator). I run about 2700rpm with my 4.88's and 33's.

    Monte with 4.88's and 35's will run about 2950 rpm and 5.29's with 35's will put him at 3200 rpm at 75 mph.

    You with 4.88's and 33's will put you at about 2650 rpm at 75 mph.

    Since most 35's measure about about 34.5 new and since yours are used your will probably cruise just over 3K with 4.88's. I've gained about 100 rpm at 75 mph as my KM2's have worn down.
