Well... brace for some more. It's been raining here damn solid for the last hour and radar shows it tracking north. I drove over the South Platte a bit ago and it was raging toward Denver.

Stay safe all you northerners. We do have extra rooms. PM or text me if you need someplace to dry out. :)

It's been raining here again since last night. At about 4:00am it was POURING and had pretty much been raining all morning with only a break or two here and there. Still raining as I type this.

Noah do I gotta hike to your house and bring ya snacks. :D

Headed to Glendale gulch in the am and we will have to hike almost all the way in from boulder mountain station Two. So we are told. They also say its inhabited by people who don't like badges and are very back woods so that should be fun  they said take PD with us but there is no way we are going to talk a cop into hiking in there with us.

This was today if you guys care.

. 28th and lee hill is our command post. We had our brush truck stay on the main road and Hiked lee hill up peak view through peak view circle down through elk ridge, crooked spur, and nugget. We pulled out of The canyon back to the command post. We were the last crew out, our comms were zero and we hunkered down at boulder mountain station 2 for a bit.

With weather.com reporting a halt to the rain at 3pm, I went out at 3:15 and surveyed the sky. Cloudy but looked alright. Drilled first hole for roof track on camper shell, included yakima bolt wasn't long enough. Zipped to home depot and it started pouring :\

Finished the rest of the install in a drizzle, no instructions included with tracks so I don't know what the hell all the washers were for, and there weren't enough for the # of nuts and bolts anyway. I drilled holes just barely big enough for the bolts, tiniest bit of resistance screwing em in from the top but not enough to crack the fiberglass. Hoping the gobs of silicone got pushed down in the holes and on the screw threads enough to seal. Thinking melting snow will probably be the true test. No clue how I lined these up so well with the cab pieces. Not really an enjoyable mod to do  Hope seeing cargo rack up there in all its glory tomorrow will make it all worth it.

Do you mean Broadway and Lee Hill? Or can you not drive as far west as Broadway?

Broadway is open. But 28th and Lee HIll is like a couple blocks away from Broadway and Lee Hill once you get that far north

It's more efficient than pulling a truck down driveways to hike along the ridges and check houses one high one low. And most of the areas are washed out so the truck has to stay where it won't get stuck or washed away.
    What Noah said.
