See...I don't get it..if you just do a shackle flip..get probably the same travel numbers..I mean I drop a 33" lower then that now with 10" shocks

When I chatted with CBI about it they said something about the 2nd gen geometry and the leafs made to fit that geometry have a tough time working out with the flips. Idk, i know there are guys doing it like psutaco but i'm not sure I want to dive into that...

I was trying to figure out what the hell a rear stitch was for about 5 seconds. haha

I am going to try to swing something for Christmas maybe since I don't have the time to work on it with school.

The problem with the shackle flip is none of the 2nd gen leaf packs are designed to work with that geometry and you lose lots of weight capacity. Look at Joe's problem last year. His brand new leaf pack was flattened after being on the truck for less than 2 weeks... He went to the Iron Mans after that and I don't think they faired any better. Expos might fair best but it still does a number on them.

Well I know the reverse shackles provid better weight capacity. Why they use it.

But whatever haha Marc..buy..and bring to Christmas mod day/weekend/week thing haha

yeah. That's why I haven't done the shackle flip. My leaf sag enough as it is. I don't need to make it worse...

HA, one of those words. Well it's not really a word I guess. You were talking about fitting 16"s or 18"s SUA right, with some sort of lo pro bedcage? IDK how SUA would work in the real world on rocky stuff... Also SUA with weight?

And craig=homer right? Yea Monte, we'll see what happens. I definitely am not going to let any local ppl here tack that kit on (if I go that route) unless they know what they're doing since it's a bit position sensitive.

Bed cage. Shocks will go outside of the frame and tilted forward. Won't take up hardly any room
