Well if I can get a few friends in, house. If not probably something cheaper.

Completely forgot you live down there lol. Might hit you up once I figure out if I'm even getting any classes come January.

Appreciate it man but not yet. I'm just curious as to prices/locations as I'm trying to plan ahead and save up a decent chunk of change to get me going. I plan on moving once I transfer but I think the first semester or two I'm going to get screwed on classes so it's not worth moving down there yet.

I spotted a white pre runner with roof rack/spare on it at the CSU Stan campus. Local to Turlock?

Well... I found out what's causing my noise.. The rear diff. The mechanic I went to didn't even need to tell me, I knew when he jerked his head listening through the stethoscope.

Anyone ever rebuild one of these suckers?

Hey all, I am not mechanically inclined so please be patient. I am getting ready to do the diff fluid change on my 07 SR5. There are no stickers left on the rear diff so I did'nt know if I had a LSD. I called the parts dept. and had them run my vin, The lady said because I have the SR5 package 2 it has the LSD. I got some LSD additive to put in the fluid, Does this sound right? If it is'nt a LSD would the additive hurt anything? I searched the threads for awhile and could'nt find an answer. Thanks in advance and I did just pull off my first brake job today, it was pretty easy. Yeah I'm lame!:D

I believe the LSD additive is only needed for TRD Sport models. I would get a confirmation on that though

I watched the AutoZone vid and fumbled through. It was on my commuter Corolla for practice, plus my neighbor is a mechanic if I screwed up

I thought that too but then I read another thread that said any LSD needs it. Sometimes this site can confuse me more lol. I almost want to know if it would hurt anything regardless if I use it. I just dont want to cause myself big problems down the road.

The brakes are so easy on these trucks. Bleeding is a bit more intricate, but you can always just have a shop do that for a few bucks.

Certain SR5 packages came with LSD (mine with SR5 #8 did). No it won't hurt to put it in of you don't have it. But I would suggest you use the tube of Equa-Torque as not all the LSD Additives are up to the task (tried others and eventually went back to the tried and true).
