So interesting end to my night...

Decided to do a quick turn in Holy Jim on my way home, and at the trailhead I see a busted dodge 1500 with glass and LT being towed by a Duramax towards the main road. I go through HJ and turn around, and they're trying to get it onto a flatbed trailer behind a Super Duty.

I stop to see how their doing, and they can't get the dodge over the trailer fenders because its wide, and the driveshaft snapped in half over a rock. So I asked why they couldn't just tow it up with a strap onto another truck parallel to the towing rig. They say they tried but they couldn't get it up without slipping. So I stepped up, pulled out the ARB snatch strap and hooked up to my rear bumper, and his front welded tube bumper. These guys are about to lose their shit laughing because the little Toyota thinks he can pull it when the diesels couldnt.

Sure enough, threw it in 4Lo, tightened the slack, and tapped the gas pedal...and up and over the fenders she went. Pulled it all the way up to the front of the trailer and they had it from there.

Some of them were in complete shock. Needless to say, I made a few believers outta these guys tonight with my little Taco that could. One guy was like "I'll never talk shit on Toyotas ever again." LOL Just goes to show how awesome these trucks are. Great to know we're making Ford, GM, and Dodge guys jealous :D

No kidding??? I thought we had 600hp to the wheels!!!

My point is that a 4WD taco is much more capable than people give them credit for.

Shoot. I'm a dick. If I offered someone a pull and they tell me I can't pull them out I would say "yeah, you're right. Good luck, later"
