Yeah same here, I know some of the guys at Les Schwab pretty well so I was just going to bring it back down there this weekend or something. They trimmed the first section for me.

Going to the Shop after work to get measurements and final say on style for my Rock sliders!! yay!! got all the tubing purchased now just got to make them!! :yay:

Would love to see pics of any installed if anyone has them handy! I have seen lots of them on here an trying to decide exactly what I want is difficult! Whats preferred/better? weld on or bolt on? I pretty much can do what ever I got all options open. I just don't want the kick up ones. Was curious about the kick out ones though and what ppl think??

Also I just bought a used warn 8,000lb winch that will be going on soon :) yay!

thanks! That's kinda what I was thinking. I was just worried about the reversibility. but honestly I don't think I plan on ever selling the truck so that really shouldn't be a big deal!

Getting 30 mpg on the highway

This is the general sentiment around here.

However... being a civil engineer who has done a minimal amount of steel design.... the bolt on in theory can be just as strong with the proper bolt pattern. Personally, I would rather weld on my frame than drill holes in it though.

My sliders are weld on... for whenever I get around to actually attaching them to the truck. Hmmmm... I should go get on that.

While I'm sure my wife would approve, there will be no pink used in the customizing of my truck! :) Maybe TRD red.

What are you doing to your truck next?

Well I got laid off so everything is on hold right now. Gonna be doing rock sliders soon and a winch. Then I would like to do something about my lift. I want to get rid of the spacers

Ouch! Times are tough... I know what that is like I was unemployed for 6 months less than a year ago. Good luck with finding a new way to earn money that goes into a bottomless black hole. :p

Boooo... There's jobs and lots of taco enthusiasts in AK :p

don't think about the lift right now! I wanted to do something "reasonable" about my spacers... like billies or OME..... and then got foxes. Totally not reasonable... :p

Even with the pink, this is a beastly truck & one hell of a transformation from stock to how it sits now. Looks sweet!
