Iowa has no tread lightly rules. All of our land has been turned hundreds of times. Winning. Even our offroad parks are man made.

So you like fishing? Fish need clean water, right? Parking like this will cause excess erosion, in turn increasing the turbidity of the water which then reduces the solar penetration, which then kills aquatic life...including fish you like to fish for. It's all a cycle...park normal, no ticket and plenty of fish for you to catch.

When those trails were originally formed there weren't 100,000s of us with built up/capable trucks with a large contingency of those people with an overinflated sense of self-entitlement either.

If you like to enjoy your parks, forests, and wildlife refuges the way they currently are, then stay on the damn trail and in the designated parking areas. Especially when you're in one of the most populated states with probably the most individuals that like to completely disregard the rules worse than you did. There's no argument for it, to those trying to justify anything.

Are you going to take this picture to the judge and show it to him?

Because the photo would show that you are indeed in violation...

Look out for snakes in the grass guerrilla marketing.
'Cos I'n'I no expect to be justified
by the laws of men - by the laws of men.
Oh, true they have found me guilty,
But through - through Jah proved my innocency.

Oh, when the rain fall, fall, fall now,
It don't fall on one man's housetop. Remember that:
    When the rain fall,
It don't fall on one man's housetop.

Hence the reason you got a ticket so you wont do it anymore and so others wont do it. If they didn't give out tickets people would think they can do whatever they want... and that is not the case.
