As you guys know theres no comparision, you can have a some what glitchy, noisy, garbled, range of a couple miles (hopefully) Or you can have rock solid "Talking like we're in the same room." type of clarity with a range of at least 25+ miles in my case, & see if you can get Erik (Socaltaco65) to dial it in, this guy def. knows his shit

Up til a few months ago , I was an old dude using a CB in a Tacoma...

Meh, I'll still use one once in awhile just for the entertainment value, Back in the day ch. 19 was a melting pot of smut/porn/mic. holding tough guys & general weirdness from all the traffic, quite entertaining at times

 

I do plan on installing my CB someday, it's a under seat unit, and i'm thinking about just going with a 3-4ft firestick, mounted on the bed rail i want to put on the front of my bed.

 

I have a old cobra in my truck, only use it for the PA since no one else is ever on CB. The antenna works better for finding my truck in a parking lot then getting a signal hahaha

 

I did have 2 or 3 fire sticks, shit Jake I've got 1 , it's white but needs some work , don't know what it needs (or if even worth bothering with
