    I think Im going to do a write up on how to fix the engine ticking (some of it), by isolating the VSV with rubber washers. THEN, I think Brianr and I are going to do an official TW movie review of Transformers 2

    It wont eliminate ALL the ticking....just the bulk of it. The VSV is mounted on the plastic, in which is alot of hollow space, acting like a resonator/amplifyer.......The only way to completly eliminate the "Ticking" on these trucks, is by switching to a hydrolic type lifter (which given the shim under bucket design, I dont think is possible), and to sound isolate the injectors, and timing chain.
