cool. what about warranties? i still got couple years left on mine. would a gaping hole in my airbox will void any warranty?

the dealership would have to prove that the airbox having a hole in it was the cause of whatever problem that may occur that you'd have to take it in under warranty for.

honestly thio man......with deckplates being so cheap....such a cheap mod, i'd go ahead with the deckplate...close it up, and they cant say anything. i doubt they'd even notice.

the emblem just has small tabs on the back, it just kinda pops out pretty easily. careful tho, cause the clips are pretty brittle and can break easy, but its easy enuff to take off.

yeah, when i was repainting all my stuff i took the emblem off the grille and the bottom tab broke.

oh well, it's black plastic behind it...can barely tell there isn't an emblem there unless you're close enough to see the holes that the lil clips went in!

no, that pic has the emblem in it.

i'll take some pics for you tomorrow without the emblem in.

i can notice it from about 10 feet away because i know it isn't there. im sure if i was walking with someone and they looked at the area they'd have no clue it was missing.

I've only opened up the air box for more air intake. No mods.
I'm looking to swap the manual clutch fan with an electric. Can you give me your opinion? All I've done so far to my 99 3.4 is cut out an opening on the breather box and installed a boat-deck 9 inch hole incert. I need more torque.
