I told my boss that the concrete forming company should come over and tear down that section and redo it.

Here's a list of things that are wrong:

    1. Walls don't line up. One wall is leaning 1 3/4" out of level and doesn't provide bearing for my floor/walls or the brick vaneer. - fix will be adding a steel angle iron to brick ledge and upper part to 'straighten' everything out
    2. A 15' wall is out of line by 1 1/4" and has the 1 3/4" lean in it too - going to try and cheat the wall/floor to adjust for the difference and use the error as an air gap for the brick
    3. Cold cellar roof/porch floor rebar is in the wrong place - rebar is set inside the floor and the anchor bolts for the floor are set inside the porch floor lol. Best part about this area is on one side of the door they put the rebar and anchor bolts in the right spot but on the other side of the door they decided to switch it up some reason
    4. Steel beams that were measured off plan and even reduced in length to compensate for normal errors is too long so tomorrow I have to cut all beams down from 1" to 1 3/4" depending on location
    5. Front garage walls are so crooked I only have 1 3/8" of bearing at one end if I keep the walls in a straight line.
    6. Anchor bolts in the wrong location
    7. Stairwell is too narrow for the location (no space provided for insulation)
    8. Poured walls are up and down from +1/4" to -3/8"
    9. One jog in the foundation is missing
    10. Poured walls were supposed to be 10" in the garage, but they only did 8" so not enough bearing for the brick vaneer and 2x6 walls, and trusses have already been ordered for said 2x6 walls
    And on and on

Oh did I mention that this is the show home for the subdivision they are putting in and the starting prices for the houses is $660,000 +?

 :burnrubber: away from that place.

What'd your boss say? You (he / bank) is paying good $$ for that and they should do a good job. Or get the word out so no one hires them in the future.

Best part is my boss decided he was going to come on site today and take over while I did some other prep work for the job. He kept complaining about how the plans don't have dimensions that's we need but all the other useless crap on them that clutters them up. I asked him if he finally understands why I complain about the plans so much lol. He got a little upset and went on a rant about the useless architect as he called him lol
