    From what I recall reading and long story short...

    There's some biotch of a lady who has leased land from the government or something and is the official "gatekeeper" for a particular road. Apparently this road is the only way out for a bunch of people because all the other ones got destroyed and she's being a jerk and not allowing anybody in or out of the gate under any circumstance. Apparently she did this before while everyone was trying to escape with fire right on their tails.

    There should be an easement if its the other property owner's only means if entrance & egress. Pretty basic real estate law actually.

    WOW, a ton of stuff has gone on here since I was last on. Its good to see you are all doing good. The area Im in, in the springs was fine but I have been helping some friends in manitue clean up, and going to school.
    I must say though, the drive from the springs to Lakewood is crazy with all the Ahole drivers.

    That's crazy, I know the whole respect someones land and what not, but if I was trying to leave and her way was the only way out and she said no, I would drive through her gate and deal with it all after I was safe. That woman put a lot of people in harms way for no good reason.

    Yeah it was some story I read saying she wouldn't let people out either. Because they ended up tearing down the fence to get out during the fires or something.
