    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.

i had 3.5'' front lift and 4.5''ish rear with 31x10.5s. Looked fine. Big part of that was i added wheel spacers to push out the wheels. Looked better to me. But it doesn't look funny.

33s did make it look better no doubt. But i didn't think it was bad at all with the 31s. I will say once i got an plate bumper the 31s looked odd up on the front. But stock bumper it was great.

there is no way you could run a 33'' tire on saggy old suspension without doing serious trimming. especially a 33x12.5

Just for reference: When I first bought the truck used, 100k miles, worn out stock suspension, 265/75 16 BFGs. One side showed witness marks of having rubbed a tad on the frame at full lock, and the mudflap showed the same, and one of its screws was missing. I can only imagine he had wheeled it a bit to do this. Previous owner did live near Hollister Hills Offroad State Park.

After changing to Michelin 256/70 16 (stock for TRD) but still stock worn suspension:

33s will always require some clearancing.

This doesn't sound right. It may be they had 33s on hand to sell and no 32's. I would consider shopping elsewhere.

Generally, tires for 15" wheels are cheaper than 16s or 17s. Take a look at tirerack.com to get an idea on pricing of the various sizes and brands. A lot of good info there.

    Ben's truck has a v6.

Here VVV is how he answered that question on the last page.

How much lift did you guys get with the 881's and trim packers. I would like to get closet to 2.25 or 2.50" up front.

I want that stance. Hoping a front bumper will do the trick for me. Eventually...

If your gonna go OME in the front just go full ome don't mix it up trust me. Ome are made to work with each other there not built for 5100. Rather go full ome in front or get a set of sway aways or icons for the front with dakars in the rear

    OME Lift, 285's
I have an 01 4x4 double cab v6. I do plan on adding an off road bumper in the future. But not right away. One big purchase at a time here...

Is there a standard in which people seem to go with in terms of 881's, 882's and 883's for this type of truck? I'd like to achieve somewhere around 2.5-3 inches of lift.

From what I've read, full OME seems to be the way to go. Any advice or suggestions?

Looks great! Are you running top plate spacers with the 882's?

It's funny, in 09 when I first joined getting the 5100 fronts paired with OME coils was THE THING to do. Now that consensus seems to be no more. I wanted 5100 fronts but they were sold out when I bought them so... I guess I'm glad I went with the nitrocharger but.
