buzzard: is your 10-24 a nikkor lens or another brand (sigma, tamron)? post up some photos and your review on it when you get the chance:thumbsup:.

that adorama listing is good one! im really stuck on the d600. i think i may just pay the little bit extra to get it new. that way ou have one crop body and one full frame. best of both worlds LOL.

I'd love to have one of each haha but right now the weakest link in my set up is the photographer (me).

I will let you know what I think of the 10-24 when I get more shots on it. It is the NIKKOR lens. 10-24 f/3.5-4.5G ED

    109 degree angle of view.

I really want to take it to the capitol building here in Lincoln. School and work may get in the way, but eventually . . .

    Right now I can't take this 85mm f/1.8 off :D
    [IMG]
    what background? haha

my current kit needs to be thinned out but this is where I'm at as it has grown. I'm feeling set and will likely sell my mid-zoom simply because I like my primes a million times more and they all overlap it.
    D7100
    10-24
16-85 (bought first as a walk around, will likely sell now that I'm addicted to my primes that I got after this)
    35, 1.8
    50, 1.8
    85, 1.8
70-300 (great focal length, not the fastest lens, can be a pain in low light)

Ruggard Outrigger 45. It came with the body or I wouldn't have gotten this particular one but it has worked fine thus far. Straps are comfortable and well padded, plenty of room for extras and it has an attached rain fly. It's definitely not the creme de la creme, but I use it as a storage please basically and have a Crumpler 5MDH for when I carry 2-3 lenses with me. I never take them all.

Search for the D7100 on B&H and you'll see it is part of an accessory offer for the body only. Perhaps there are some more extensive reviews on it there.

I really want to try some trailing stars from my balcony tonight. I need to get a tripod already.

Haha I have chairs out there and lots of books in here. Perhaps I'll set something up. Should be interesting for all my neighbors to watch if anything.

Compatible with Manfrotto Befree? I'll likely get flamed for not considering a heavier duty tripod, and probably rightly so, but I'm really considering the Befree for the ability to backpack it up to wherever.
