    I miss being in upstate NY for the skiing. All the good places around here are over 3 hours away and now $70+/day. The resorts have taken a lot of the fun out of the sport :(

    If you can keep the 90 degree weather contained to your plot, sure :D

    I don't even shovel my own driveway... snowblower FTW!

    Actually never been to Sugarloaf. I've mostly stuck to upstate NY and western VT but have made a couple trips to Sunday River since moving to MA.

    Its a haul, but worth it. I usually do Sunday River or anywhere in NH, but Sugarloaf is my favorite place on the east coast.

    I like cannon. It's never as crowded, and last year they put lift access to the adjacent peak where you used to have to hike to get to. So ours now lift served out of bounds area.

    But ya, the prices at resorts are crazy. Shan's uncles has a condo at Sunday river, above the ski school right by the chondola. We stay for free, can cook our own food etc.. But even then with tickets at like $65/person/day (she gets discount tickets through work) it still ain't cheap. Can't imagine taking a family there, or any resort for that matter

    We usually get a timeshare rental at Stowe in late Feb. Nice townhouse. 5-600$ for a week. Sleeps 6-8. I'm too old for Tuckerman's. Lol. But I'll do the front four any day as long as it's open :D
