    None,
but thats how the apps do it, you type in the litres (canada) and the $$ amount if u want, and also the kilometres driven. thats to much math for me tho lol i hate it enough as is. maybe illl try it some day... estimates are good enough for me anyway..

I thought you were talking about an app that gave estimated mpg, not just based off of inputted kilometers and litres.

You shouldn't see a difference between apps then?

I'd like to know the secret to the people who claim they get 22 + MPG...

I have street tires inflated to the max, Volant Cold Air Intake, Use all synthetic oils, only use Premium 91 Octane fuel, and drive mostly highway/freeway on my hour commute (55-65 MPH).

And at the end of the day, my average maintains 20.5 MPG (according to my Ultragauge)

    Build thread coming soon!
Mine has shown everything from 13 to 27!
Avg. 13-16 towing my Polaris Ranger(winter or summer), avg. 18 winter, 21 summer.
27 was observed on my tour of southern b.c. in august.
Shell V-Power almost exclusively. If not available, Co-op gold.
I take it pretty easy when accelerating in general, set the cruise at 10 over speed limit

Yep. Divide miles driven by gallons used. No app needed for MPG. Need app to figure how much is wasted sitting in traffic. Can do 70+ on the way to work and 45ish in the way home.

Between 16 and 17. I've seen 18, but I basically put it in drive and didn't touch the gas pedal for that tank lol.

06 TRD Sport ACLB with tow package, no mods yet to the drivetrain. I haven't towed anything yet but I have done some wheelin.. That eats my gas FAST!! But on a normal, evenly Slit highway/city tank I average about 19.6 mpg.

Keep a consistent speed, gentle acceleration, use engine braking. I see you have a 4wd DC. 4wd alone will bringndown mpg. I have a bare bones regular cab with 2wd so its not a fair comparison

Wow, I was thinking of switching to a Tacoma from my first gen Tundra.

part of the reason was improved gas mileage... Doesn't seem to be much of an improvement though.

I'm getting 16.2 MPG in my first gen Tundra since I bought it.

In town I get 20 MPG. I have done two mods to get this.
    1. Dynomax Muffler
    2. K&N Air Filter

I also closely monitor my tire pressure @ 40 PSI.

I have not checked Highway MPG.

20.8 mpg - just over 1,000 miles on the odo though.

thats with a 2013 DCSB V6 auto TRD Sport. Better than I had expected. Went from a 2013 Hyundai Elantra getting around 35 mpg.

Don't switch to a mid size truck for MPG reasons. I just got my V6 PreRunner, and I'm astounded by how bad it is compared to a full size with a V8.

4.0 V6. I'm lucky to get 300 miles on a 16-17 gallons tank with BFG A/T's 285/75/16 and 2.5 inch lift. I have the lightest foot too.
    300 divided by 16 = 18.75 mpg/tank
