had to drive the gf's car to go get smogged today, she took mine. Im not like most of the fanboys and grovel about my 4runner. Its cool but its NOT the best thing ever created like a lot of people would lead you to believe. But holy hell do i miss it already just from driving hers to the shop it made me like mine more. Its coming up on a year, i might do something special for it.

He made a post that he was pissed off that his for sale thread got pulled b/c he didn't follow the T4R guidelines. However, in that post the user 'bitchazz' instigated him and they went back and forth. The rest is history and they both got a temp ban. I doubt 'The Kid' will be back since he's selling his 4Runner.

The T4R guidelines are Bull Shit anyways. No one reads the "Read this before posting". And a mod running around and deleting a for sale ad that has a couple of paragraphs of info that took a while to type up is a dick move. Coping the ad and PMing it to said person and then deleting would make more sense. Or if it's just the title FIX IT FOR THEM.

I didn't make the rules, I just have to enforce them.. I have changed MANY titles without every notifying the seller and making a big deal about it. To be honest, I usually don't even mess with classifieds unless they seriously lack most information or are blatantly out of line. All I really do in the classifieds is move WTB ads in the sale sections to the WTB section. The sale guidelines are strict to keep the classifieds organized better but no one really follows them cus no one likes to read or follow rules when it comes to something like an internet forum. People should have common sense on what's involved with selling an item though. Details, pics, price, location. It's simple as hell but somehow people seem to lack common sense.

Look at it this way. Say you go through the suspension/wheels/tires sale section. You are looking for specific 3rd gen shocks. There are 5 different sale post for shocks but none of the titles tell you anything. They all sale "shocks for sale" and then maybe a price. You click on every single one and none of them are the ones you want or can use. How fucking annoying is that. If they said in the title what they had specifically to begin with you wouldn't have had to waste time going through all of them.

You just have to remember the forum is a community much like this one. It's FREE, provides a great wealth of information, and allows us to show off our handy work and what we're proud of. If a few rules or guidelines is all I have to follow to be involved, which by all means are nothing near as strict as say YotaTech, then I'm ok with it.

Set up a collection for my team for Alzheimer's research (we're doing a walk).

We are doing the walk on Sunday the 29th. I also plan on hosting an event next spring with all proceeds going to ALZ research.

Da hell T4R is bitching out on me again. At least I have trusty old TW.

And I sell stuff either here or on pirate or a local classified ads here. Honestly though T4R doesn't really have that bad of guidelines. Picture, price, description. Not really that bad. Anyways if you really wanna actually sell something you should have that as a minimum anyway. Should have as much info as you can. Just my opinion and my limited history in sales that I have
