    I think we were taking the OME 881's off and replacing with the Eibach coils. Either way, Ill stick with the Auto Zone compressors for now. PITA but haven't failed for me yet.

    I've done it this way a couple times... it is easier than it looks! SO FAST and SAFE with a good floor jack! I tossed my scary compressor!!!

    So, I've been gone from these pages for some time now, and the last couple days a couple TW guys checked on me so I thought I'd check in.

    For those of you that were at the last meet at my place... you know I was having some issues with balance. It's progressed a little as well as another symptom. Lots of testing going on... some things I.D'd, some things speculated, but nothing for sure. We're confident all will be OK.

    On the bright side, business is booming and very promising. I'm really enjoying setting my own schedule!

    Now I have a bunch of catching up to do and apparently some planning to head up to Harrisonburg!!!! :D

    The jack.... being that they can support the entire vehicle, can certainly support the coil. Remember, it's still bolted at the top... so it can't go anywhere as you lower it.

    How many guys are going up to the Toyota meet? Is there going to be a convoy? I want in!!!

    I also am looking for a 33" 17 spare if anyone has one free or sale. I have a rim, just need the shoe. Gonna throw it up on the roof rack. Gotta get a hi-lift jack for it too.

    the best thing to do with an adjustable coil over is to take all the preload off of it that you can, then pull the spring off. then move the collar down to roughley where u need it (about an inch for 700# coils) put new coils on then put on truck and then fine tune to where u want them. doing it this way helps keep some of the pressure off if u are using an autozone compressor and makes it a little easier and "safer"

    Its safer that that compressor you had, Ill give you that. But so is juggling chainsaws... :D

    Hope everything turns out ok. My wife had bad vertigo for a week it and it was just the crystals in her head out of alignment. A physical therapist should be able to rest them by moving your head in certain directions (weird I know...).

    Yeah... you mentioned that while you were here. There are laser light tests for that. Its were they discovered some neurological issues... but not the crystals. That was like 2 mos ago... I've spent entire days holing onto the couch with a barf bucket it can get so bad.

    On the bright side... I'm outside literally scrubbing what seems to be some sort of rust... like I ran my taco through a metal dust storm off my truck... and I'm holding up! So... that a record of 4 days in a row! Meclazine... I don't leave home without it. : )
