    Bone stock. For now.
My '02 PreRunner is my first Toyota, but I have owned three Jeeps before ('96 XJ Cherokee, '02 WJ Grand Cherokee, and '02 TJ Wrangler). I've liked them all a lot, though the Grand Cherokee was by far my favorite.

I actually found a '04 Overland edition I'm going to go look at this weekend.

Anybody else had any experience with Jeeps?

I work with them every day. Mostly JK's, but a couple TJ's here and there.

Fun for crawling, and limitless aftermarket parts, but it's always a nice feeling to get back in the Taco after driving one of the shop Jeeps.

had a couple tjs, now in my 03 doublecab.. i like the toyota for all around, its great dd, trail and fo rthe family.. that said, the jeeps were more "fun", its driving a pissed off roller skate when its build up, doors and top off, on 35s+..they are more of a novelty and i probably wont be going back to them

This needs to be moved to a different thread. But my girlfriend has a jeep I drive sometimes. I get the best of both worlds. :D

I almost got a Jeep that was on the same lot as my babytruck. The only thing that really stopped me is that it was yellow and there was no way my husband wanted a yellow jeep. Does that count?

Can I just PM a mod and request to have it moved? I guess I could've started it somewhere where EVERYONE could see it!

    I'd say it's close enough!

If my truck was a 4x4, I wouldn't even dream of selling it. And yes, I would LOVE to find a 4x4 Taco or 4Runner, but everything in my price range has 220k+ miles on it. I can find Grand Cherokees with V8's with 100k all day. I'm so torn!

Man, if I had the money for two vehicles, I would love to find a Jeep Full Size truck! Those are sweet! Hell, I'd even take an MJ!

Grew up with an '88 Wrangler, an '88 Cherokee (mom flipped it), and a '99 Wrangler which was my last vehicle before this '11 Tacoma. I believe my knee cricks and my ears ring because of the Wrangler. I also thought my stock Tacoma rode like a Cadillac, and I hated it. It still rides too nice. :D Lots of fun times in my Wrangler, but I don't miss it one bit.

Neighbors had a Grand Cherokee which I loved, and soooooooo many friends I grew up with and know now have Jeeps.

They're pretty sweet but I'm not going to lie, that's what started teaching me to be a mechanic haha I did a lot to that thing. Axles, transfer case, tranny, all sorts of shit (the sending unit went out on the gas tank and I went ahead and got a new abs gas tank for it and everything, and changing that out taught me a good lesson on why to drain to the gas tank before dropping it) Even got it painted o.d. green. I had a hell of a time finding parts but no matter where I went in it people would come up and want to talk to me about it and see it.

I'm a current Jeep owner. 1995 YJ. Pretty cool but I'd MUCH rather have a TJ. I also have a 99 Cherokee (for sale) and my Dad has a Liberty. Hoping by this time next year there won't be any Jeeps in the driveway!
