park city, UT is a pretty fun little town (adjacent to park city mountain resort)

...but yes, so far as nightlife and the works, whistler may very well be king... if i'm not mistaken whistler is the largest ski resort, in terms of land area, in north america - that's a lot of skiing to be done!

...but, whistler's perch on the coast mountains is influenced by the pacific maritime climate, and so isn't known for low density powder snow in the way that UT, WY, CO, and perhaps MT are... places like snowbird/brighton/solitude/alta, jackson hole, grand targhee, and steamboat get great snow, light and deep usually, and a lot of it (especially the UT and WY resorts)... if you like canada, try lake louise resort, it's farther east in alberta - great skiing there, and probably lower density snow than whistler....

I like winter, but this year it is supposed to be horrible here. Winter here is predicted to start next month and we're supposed to have 2 super storms in december like the one we had back in october a few years back. And I just graduated so no more snow days.. :pout: But I hope to get to ski a time or 2 this season. Last year was my first time skiing. I love it like crazy.

yes sir! i remember we got first tracks down rendezvous bowl at jackson hole mountain resort on the first day of the tram opening for the 2001-2002 season (back when it was the "old" tram), ...and it had snowed several feet the night before :D

...the cottonwood canyon resorts in UT have been pretty good to me, but i'd have to say steamboat has always delivered for me, ...they should have a snorkel shop there!

yep, snowshoe is pretty nice, and (forget the name, "wolf creek" or something?) the adjunct resort has some nice runs and terrain park features...

there's a sister resort next to snowshoe (shares same mountain and road), or maybe it's part of snowshoe but has it's own name... anyway, they had a terrain park and some blue runs there...
