    Mega, mega dittos.

Too many years of Rock & Roll, motorcycles, and gunfire.

Interesting... I don't think the '08 has an underseat airbag module (and it's cables would be yellow). Are there any identifying marks or part numbers on it? I suspect it could be a Lojack unit. The vehicle's data recorder comes to mind, but it doesn't seem it would be that small. Anything factory would certainly have a part number.

Pictures are coming as soon as I can find a way to upload them!! :( not having the best time with that. And then the module under the seat, def not Lojack. Its gotta be the sensor for the driver in-seat airbag or something. Can anyone verify this? Also what's the danger of moving it over a little? If its just malfunction if seat airbag that's fine just don't want any codes or lights thrown. I'll get a part # if I can and pictures if I can get them on here

I can't verify with 100% certainty, but my guess is it is an airbag sensor. And if it plainly states WARNING DO NOT CHANGE LOCATION, I wouldn't but thats just me. Those things are expensive and so is an airbag if it were to go off, not to mention if it popped somebody in the head. They are violent went they go off and could snap somebody's neck if they were leaning in are something. Stranger things have happened.

If it was possible with your amp dimensions, why not try building a platform over the sensor, but under your carpet, then mount the amp to that. (Carpet would be sandwiched between amp and platform).

I thought about building over it, I've got two kicker IX500.4 amps going under that seat and the kicker KX800.1 and front row processor going under the passenger seat so going to be tough to get around it. If I build the amp up any its not going to clear the seat. Then thought about spacing seat up a little but don't wanna go that rout so I'll do some measuring and see what else I can do. And dealership verified it was the seat position sensor for the airbag. Tells it how close or far the seat is so the airbag can go off to the proper inflation. Hmm... another worry is that the sensor may be electronically "noisy" and could be picked up as wine in my 4channel mounted so close to it. Bc idk how it senses the seat.. I may go the rout where I put the 4channels under the passenger seat but then I can't adjust my front row processor as easily. I'll figure it all out just brainstorming here.

    You're welcome.
When you wana post some pics of yours. Go to your profile look under the pic you wana post ,copy the forum embed code, then go to the thread you wana post in, then do the post reply or reply quick, look at the little yellow box, click that and insert the code by pasting it and hit ok, then reply etc. Same with if you see a pic on the interweb, except you copy the web address.

Kicker gives one of the better BB employee accomodations out there.

Not a fan of Q forms. Custom build is the only way to go.

I am sure you know it since you have been at BB awhile but they do search the net and have popped a number of employees for various reasons due to online postings.

Yeah I've heard of getting in trouble for that. I'm not posting any prices or anything so I think I'll be alright. And thanks for playing those pics! Now I know how instead of uploading them here. Idk why its different from the profile pic deal but oh well.

You need to look into some of the big build guys then like Steve Meade.. Chicken.. they have a ton retail. Of course being a vendor or owning your own brand helps (SMD) but retail these guys are putting in $10k- $20k easy. The kicker warhorse amp retails for $10,000 and I've seen a Tahoe with 2 of them. And that's just the amps

When I worked for Circuit city in HS Kicker offered a one time employe discount of 75% off. After that future orders were around 50% off.

Also at the top of the page you need to click on "tacoma photos" to get the drop down then click on "your TW live address". That will be where to send the pictures to. then they will show up in your gallery

Even the Dynamat can really add up.

Yep that's right. Not uncommon at all. And people complaining about spending so much on audio go out and spend that one lift, wheels and tires. Which is cool but everyone has their own priority and likes. Mine happens to be audio. And yes the dynamat adds up Real quick!! With the combined dynamat, dynaliner, and dynapad, I think I'm sitting around 1400 retail just on that. And I just had to go buy 2 more door kits last night. So sick of laying dynamat BUT I finished the back wall and rear driver side door and half the passenger rear door last night. About to move to the floor next and then I can finally start with the fun part! Wiring it all up!!!
