Got some more pics. It's getting closer!!:D:D I saw the door panel design sketches, and they're going to be awesome! There were three batteries up front, now they are taking out the spare tire and building rack for the batteries there.

Here's what the outside looks like as of yesterday

The amps will be lit with blue LED's and the On the Go Audio logo will be lit up blue as well

Really been thinking lately of replacing the stock speakers. I figured I would use a three way 6x9 up front and maybe some components in the rear. I was looking at what Cruchfield had and now I have some questions. It seems that most of the components come with external cross overs do I have to use them or can I just replace the back speakers with the components and be done? I do plan on replacing the stock receiver with one of the new app receivers with GPS. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Lol the money you have spent on that install could have bought you long travel, a 6lug, or an xrunner.

As for your batts What alt did you replace with to keep them charged? And whats your total draw on your electronics system to necessitate 3 batts?

Jesus, a 270 for 3 amps? how much power are you consuming with those audisons? Or better yet how many LED's did you put in that cab?

I just texted my brother and asked. And there are going to be quite a few LED's. The door panels are going to have certain areas lit up too.

Hmmmmm, with those numbers looks like he's over killing it with a 270 HO alt. At 900 watts for stereo plus a misc 200 for everything else my amperage needed to run the system at 12.7 is 86 amps.

Now lets say your brothers system, with three amps, cuz I can't quite tell how many audisons he has, and an extra 280 watts for stock elec plus leds (LEDS costume a small amount I'm comparison to normal lights) he should be in the ball park of 1500 watts to run it at 12.7 volts he we need a 120amp alt to maintain.

Only reasons I bring this up are two, A) a right wond alt that produces higher storage dies it faster, even faster for those above 200 amps in a smaller configuration. And B) 270 plus three deep cell batts just seems like a hell of an overkill for this install.

If I'm mistaken in calcs please let me know but wow, Just a lot for a small install.

He is running three Audison amps, 2 Uno, 1 Quattro. And I honestly wouldn't know if your off. I'll ask him about it.
